For a lot of reasons? I would think being unable to run and test a Kotlin program would be the most important reason not to use NetBeans for Kotlin programming.

The statement “ Now you can develop in the Kotlin language using NetBeans IDE” is extremely misleading if you can’t even get a Hello World to run.
