IntelliJ has lots of tools for inspecting variables during program execution. I barely know them. I was giving a presentation about TDD with the Fraction class and I was trying to see if anyone could figure out why the test for numericApproximation() was failing (e.g., 1/3 = 0.3333 roughly, not 0.0).

I had actually gotten a little off track, but that gave this one guy the opportunity to teach me about interactive evaluation in IntelliJ. I’m glad to have learned about that, even though I doubt I’ll use it very often.

Where’s the article you said you were going to write? Is it still in your drafts folder? I look forward to reading it.
